My wife and I stopped in at 7:30pm they close at 8:00 and told us we couldn't be seated. Okay! We ordered carryout. We like egg foo young. The gravy had a weird taste. They were very thin and soggy. My wife got sick and puked. Mind you, this is her favorite dish. She said It's the first and last time she's eating there. I ordered Mei Fun with chicken. It usually comes with plenty of veggies and meat. Mine was almost all noodles with no flavor and it was very dry. I literally picked up the whole portion from the container in one fork. It was all stuck together. I poured my egg drop soup in there to loosen it up. This is no comparison to the original Lung Fung original location that closed. Not even close. Terrible food.

This is an authentic Chinese restaurant, primarily Cantonese. The food is freshly cooked in stages, not poured out of a frozen bag like the chain restaurants. That said, everything tastes better. It has a depth of flavor which doesn't hide behind salt or sauce. It's a husband and wife team, and truly a family business. Excellent service, the food was hot and delicious. I'll definitely return.

My son recommend that we try Lung Fung, so I picked up 3 orders of the Mogolian Beef. I've never had Mogolian Beef with green peppers, mushroom and carrots, flavor was good but when I say "Where's the Beef?" And I'm not even a big meat eater that's a problem. No rice noodles either. Barely any onions. My poor husband & sister are still hungry. 3 lunch meals $42 and we are still hungry. But after looking at the reviews it appears lack of protein is a reoccurring complaint. Atmosphere was so dark I had to rate it low, I couldn't see much. The best part of the entire thing was the very sweet young lady at the counter. So much for taking a drive from Belvidere to try them out. This was a 1 and done, sadly cause the flavor was good but the portions were not. We will not be returning

Order $80 worth of food got a bunch of rice. This was awful. Their sizes are tiny and you are not going to get what you think you're going to get. I would never order from this place again. I will never order from this place again.... You're better off having someone deliver it from Happy walk than to pay $80 from these guys ever ever again. Save your money. Don't ever come here. Don't ever order here

Friendly people. The food was terrible…. Chewy chicken 0 flavor. In the cashew chicken. This was very disappointing. I added sauce and chili oil after tasting and its was still bad. Waste of money!! 14 dollars for 3pcs of chicken in the chicken teriyaki… they need to do better.
